Day 1

Last night we were in the studio with Cincere (www.myspace.com/1cincere) working on some new material. We got about 3 or 4 songs already written that we have slated to work on and last night we started working on the first song called "You Don't Even Know My Name" Cincere's been out of the studio for the last couple months since recording his demo performing, working out and working on his vocals (I hope), so yesterday was the night that we were going to put this young kids growth to the test. And I must say, last night was a whirlwind of vulgarity (the word NiggerFaggit was thrown around at least a hundred times, I expect it will make a triumphant return tonight for Day 2) coupled with musical brilliance; held together by a mid session trip to Carl's Jr. to keep our creative juices flowing. By the end of the night we had most of the Hook done and the kid responded fairly well to the pressure. But this is only the beginning....hahahhaahaha (Sinister Laugh)

Nigga, Nigga, Nigga, Nigga, I Say It A Hundred Times Every Morning, It Makes My Teeth White!

WARNING IF YOU ARE NOT ACCUSTOM TO HEARING HOW REAL BLACK PEOPLE TALK THEN YOU MAY WANT TO STOP READING NOW, BECAUSE WHAT YOU ARE ABOUT TO READ IS SOME REAL SHIT THAT MAY NOT SIT WELL WITH YOU IF YOU ARE NOT USED TO ENCOUNTERING SUCH HIGH LEVELS OF REALNESS.....

"(White folks upset at blacks for saying Nigga) Nigger stop saying Nigger, Im getting a Nigger headache, Stop it! White folks ya shouldn't have made up Nigga. I didn't make it up, its too bad, I say NIGGA a hundred times every morning, it makes my teeth white, Nigga, Nigga, Nigga, Nigga, Nigga, I aint scared of that word "

-Paul Mooney, Legendary Comedian

First and foremost if you not black don’t say nigga. If you say nigga and someone gets offended then don’t say shit when they kick your wonderful loving and respectful ass! If you go around and say shit that offends people with reckless abandon then you deserve to get your ass kicked. The reason to not say the N word (as if you need one) if you are not black is simply because it offends black people. If we use it amongst ourselves that’s cool, but just because we use it DOES NOT mean that you can too. Its bad enough that the way we walk, the way we talk, the way we dress and the way we wear our hair is copied daily by non blacks, well guess what the bucks has got to stop somewhere and it’s at Nigga. Its cool if you’re a wigga (look it up on urbandictionary.com) that dresses black, talks black, wears cornrows and dates black girls but don’t get it twisted none of that give you a pass to say the N word.

And don’t listen to your black friends gas you up saying its cool for you to say it because if you slip up and say it around a real ass nigga such as myself expect to be visiting the E.R moments later. I shall reiterate, If you are not black do not say the N word unless you are prepared to deal with the consequences and I don’t think you are. Because it offends black people when non blacks called them nigga, and offended black people are prone to go into a blind rage and kick ass!!!

Ok, now here's the real reason why I am posting this blog, the intro was just a disclaimer to those reader who do not know about the proper usage of the word nigga. And the story begins with me on therundown.tv watching the new nas video "Be A Nigga Too" and while everyone is talking about how great a video it is, some confused ass nigga hops on there woofing about how its so bad that black people use the word nigga and what not and writes this whole novel on it. Making a bigger deal of it than what it is. I'm tired of stupid ass black people throwing a fit over a word and losing site of the real issues. These fucking house nigga piss me the fuck off! Wasn't no niggas running around screaming about how we should stop saying nigga until the white man couldn't call us that anymore, now that it aint cool for them to say it (publicly) anymore, now we got to stop too?? Nigga Please! What they do don't dictate what the fuck I do, Ima Do Me! Do you know why they weren't worried about it back in the day because they had bigger fish to fry like fighting for equality, and even today we have bigger fish to fry. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that nigga is the classiest word in the black vocabulary but we as a people have bigger fish to fry. So with that said this is what I wrote in response to this confused girls shenanigan's!

People always crying about black people using the N word among themselves when there are a million other more important issues that are holding back blacks in america. Im tired of people spending all this damn energy fight a fuckin word, its reality thats kicking my black ass! But those people are just lost, so let me offer some clarity.

All these people out here worried about blacks using the N word among themselves, if yall really care about the state of black people in this country yall would get the hell out there and start getting involved in things that will make a difference; and once you have tackled the top 50 issues that plague the black community then you can dust your hands off and focus on "Issue plaguing the black community #51: the N word and our social usage of it". Get a f*cking grip on reality will you PLEASE?????

You are far too busy focusing on bull sh*t to see the real issues, let me spell a few of them out for you smart ass.....

1. Blacks are getting paid 41% less than whites all the way across the board

2. Schools in the inner city are under-funded and providing black students with an inferior education that is not preparing them to succeed in the always changing job market let alone college.

3. Doctors get paid by medicare and insurance company's less to work in low income areas than they would get in areas with higher income to do the same procedure. The prospective reimbursement system that all doctors live on to operate is ridiculously skewed driving good doctors out of poor neighborhoods, so even if black doctors wanted to come back to the hood, the system is set up so that they would be making less than their colleagues to do so.

4. Then you have the judicial system that disproportionately over sentences blacks for the same crimes whites do creating crowded prisons over populated with black men that when released have a criminal record and little hope of getting a really good job. Leaving them prey for the revolving door syndrome that plagues many inmates after they are released.

5. How about police brutality?? F*ckin Sean Bell happens every F*ckin day!! The police are out of control they just killed another unarmed nigga in inglewood (where I live) the other day. And are they going to Jail? No! The police kill niggas like f*ckin cattle and the sh*t is swept under the rug. Go to your congressmen and demand change, set up a protest. Lobby to get legislation changed to prosecute these bastards.

6.....shall I go on?? The N word being used amongst ourselves is inconsequential to the struggle, cant you f*ckin see that??? So next time you wanna spend you energy talking about some shit that aint important you better look at the real f*cking issues idiot!

High Ass Gas Prices

So I was at work yesterday and I saw my boy Bruce coming into work on the elevator and he was sweating outrageously, he was soaking wet. So I just assumed he had hit the gym before work. I guess he noticed that was looking at him confused so he shared with me that he had ridden his bicycle to work. I was like "You rode a bicycle.........to work, WHY?!!". He then explained he drove a truck and gas was too high so he just rode his bicycle to work. I was still a bit fascinated by the prospect of this 6'4 muthafucka hoping on some little ass bicycle and riding his happy ass to work, so I asked him "Where do you live?"

Can you believe this nigga said Culver City! We work in El Segundo so thats a fucking hell of a bike ride, its at least 15 miles away if you take the streets which obviously he had to. He told me it took him 75 minutes to ride his bike from Culver City to El Segundo. What in the hell is going on in the world, that a nigga would rather ride his bike 75 minutes to work than pay them high ass gas prices at the pump! Scary!

So if gas hits $5.00 a gallon this summer like the expert predict it will (and I pray it wont) we all have to take a lesson from Bruce and invest in a huffy!

If gas hits $5 /gal this summer, then this will be the hottest ride of Summer 08!

Video: Usher Say "I'll Show You How To Do This, Son"

Usher on MTV last week; And for the record I did by the album as soon as it came out. Usher had this to say about his marriage to Taheka Foster:
“I’m trying to do it the right way. This is the way you’re supposed to do it! Pay attention, fellas”

Now I wasn't going to say shit at first, I figured Usher just liked mannish looking women at this point in his life. Good for him, to each his own, whatever floats your boat Ush. but after Usher dropped that "This is the way you're suppose do it" line, I just could NOT let that shit ride.

Usher I respectfully, disagree!!! This is not the way you do it. If I come home with something like this, I give you the right to:

1) Check to make sure she doesn't have a penis

2) slap the shit out of me.

...Cold blooded.

Video: Black People In South Beach Cause Barack To Lose This Woman's Vote. God Bless Intelligent Americans!

There should be a point in a person's life where they're deemed to senile to vote, its obvious that this woman has reached that point. But no worries, just like the old geezer that made those racist "Curious George" Obama T-shirts last month in Georgia, (it would appear) they're the last of dying breed; to stuck in their old ways and ideology to embrace change. When the last of these people (I finally get to use that phrase agianst them. lol) die off, I will gladly be the pallbearer. My suites already pressed up and ready to go, I'm just waiting on the call.

Confused!

"Why does this fucking picture look pixelated and grainy? I can't seem to figure that shit out"

I know I been away for a while but I'm back like cooked crack (lol). I been on the grind with my other blog www.3barsof clarity.com. I've been developing the site with my 2 friends for about 3 weeks now and its finally at the point where its ready for viewing , somewhat.

We also have been recording a radio show as a component to the website and lots of other original audio/video content.

But thats just the update, the whole reason why I am writing this blog called Confused is because thats where I'm @ with music today, more so Hip-Hop & RnB. I was trying to pick a song to put on my blog and I realized that at this moment I don't have a favorite song! I can not remember the last time that I did not have a favorite current song out. I'm realizing that at the moment there is not a current song out that really give me that feeling and that's sad. Mariah's album was much less that I expected, Usher's album is nice but he was obviously on some other shit when he made the album. And nothing else on the Radio is really peeking my interest. Now there's a collection of highly anticipated albums dropping this summer. So hopefully one of them will have a song worthy of the coveted title "Mike Dre's Favorite Song". But until then.....Mr. Music=Life is lost in an abyss of musical mediocrity.

Barack Obama wins the Democratic Party Nomination!

June 03, 2008

The political hegemony of people of European descent in America was dealt a crucial blow today as Barack Hussein Obama earned the Democratic Party’s Nomination for President of the United States. Obama shares this distinction with prominent names in American history such as William Jefferson Clinton, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and slaveowner Andrew Jackson. Mr. Obama’s nomination comes after a remarkable campaign that has inspired an unprecedented amount of voter involvement and setting records for campaign contributions.

Technicalities aside, Mr. Obama’s nomination marks the farthest a “black” person has gone up the symbolic power structure of America.

This is the same America where 40 years ago, the idea of inequality of the races was as prevalent as the idea of driving on the correct side of the street. However, despite the 300 year head start by European Americans, and violent, sadistic resistance to the humanity of “black” people, Barack Obama has been given the opportunity to appeal to the public for the privilege of being our country’s next political leader, and commander-in-chief of America’s armed forces.

Enough with the parades, though…

No matter what you feel about politics, this marks a change in the objective history of the racial power struggle. White people have been giving us shit all our lives about how we are lazy and stupid, how our cultures are “primitive”, and continue to degrade all people of color as if we aren’t human. Even though not all white people are explicitly racist, all white people benefit from the inhumane acts that have been perpetrated against truly innocent, good people worldwide whose only crime was not having white skin.

As we see from worldwide protests against Bush, the president of the USA is a visible symbol of power; a power which normally belongs to the racist white establishment. Obama winning this nomination is a major step in bringing the truth to the light, by breaking this myth that only white people can be considered for such a responsibility.

The ‘race’ now is for the votes of the American people, as opposed to non-white people facing violent opposition to being respected as citizens.

No matter what happens from this point on, we have clear evidence that this long standing idea of racial superiority or inferiority in society is a myth…a fucking myth! Wake up! WE HAVE ALWAYS BEEN FREE!

Black is not just beautiful…it’s American, it’s human, and today it’s
Barack Obama.
